The premises of OTTO and some of its subsidiaries (such as Hermes Fulfilment) in Hamburg now cover 205,000 square meters - the equivalent of 35 soccer pitches. You will find our departments on the OTTO Campus in Building 116 and Building 3.
If you come by bus or train, the best way to get to us is via Gate 1, but you can also reach us quickly via Gate 2. There are plenty of parking spaces and lockable bicycle cages at both gates. You can get the key from the gatekeeper.

Three canteens (in Building 1, Building 3 and at bon prix) offer a wide range of breakfasts and a varied selection of lunch dishes every day.
The bistro on the boulevard also serves breakfast and lunch - also to take away. The Steel Runner also serves delicious refreshments.
You can view the current menus for all Hermes Fulfilment locations on the intranet.
You will receive an employee ID card at the start of your employment, which will be handed to you by the ID office of the OTTO Accounting Service Center. This will allow you to enter and leave the premises.

Please send your photo in good time before you start work, stating your full name and the date of recruitment in the subject line.
You can then pick up your new ID card on your first day of work at the entrance to Gate 2 (Bannwarthstraße 5, 22179 Hamburg). A visit to the ID office is not necessary.
Please note that the ID card can only be issued if you have returned your complete contract documents on time.
You can use the ID card to pay in the canteen - either by salary deduction or by cash payment. You can decide on a case-by-case basis which payment method you would like to use. If you would like to pay in cash, there is a card recharger in the canteens where you can top up your ID card with five, ten or fifty euro bills. Please inform the cashier in the canteen that you would like to pay with card credit and not by salary deduction.
If you lose your ID card, please contact the OTTO ID card office immediately on 6461-6524.
Outside opening hours, please contact reception or the security center on 6461-8404 so that your ID card can be blocked and a new one issued for you.
Information about possible leisure activities can be obtained from the tourist information offices, for example at the main railway station or at the Landungsbrücken. During the summer months, you can obtain the "Hamburg Summer" booklet, a directory of the cultural program from May to October, which provides clear information about exhibitions, theater, ballet, festivals, literature, music, film and sport. The monthly "Hamburg Guide" reports on gastronomy, shopping, events, hotels, culture, leisure and sport. The monthly "Hamburg Preview" also provides a good overview of events. Many theaters and music pubs also publish their own event calendars. Several Hamburg daily newspapers, e.g. the Hamburger Abendblatt or the Hamburger Morgenpost, report in detail every Thursday on the current cinema program and other events. City magazines such as Szene, Prinz or oxmox are also recommended.
