Ohrdruf? That's about 40 kilometers from Erfurt. And what is still being tested on Germany's roads has long been a reality in our logistics center there: a transport system with 52 vehicles without drivers! This makes our picking warehouse and the Hermes delivery base (HAB for short) in Ohrdruf one of the most modern in Europe. Nevertheless, the 350 colleagues on site always need reinforcements. For example, to process 6 million items and returns every year!

Environmental protection and sustainability are very important to us at Hermes Fulfilment. That's why we are happy if you come to work by bike. Your bike will be safe and protected from the weather in our bike cage. You can get a key from our office for a small loan fee.
Your health is important to us. That's why we have launched the voluntary health promotion bonus program. From 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2024, you can collect points for great rewards and keep yourself and your body fit at the same time.
How does it work?
1) Get the bonus booklet from your HR department
2) Collect points in different categories, such as sports events, participation in a smoking cessation course or health courses to be completed once
3) Add up your points and enter them in the bonus booklet
4) Have the points confirmed by the HR department after presenting proof of participation

5) Choose a bonus depending on the number of points you have achieved
Conditions:
Please note that the bonus booklet must be submitted by the end of January of the following year. Later submissions will not be considered.
Who can take part?
All permanent employees and trainees as well as fixed-term employees with a period of employment of more than 12 months can participate. All employees and trainees who are in an unterminated employment/trainee relationship at the time the bonus is paid are eligible for the bonus. This does not apply to employees/trainees who have given notice without notice and were entitled to do so; they can continue to redeem their points when the corresponding number of points is reached.
The rewards are fixed in the bonus booklet and cannot be converted into cash.

On your first day, please report to our plant security at the station. A passport photo will be taken for your employee ID card. You will receive this afterwards. Please have your employee ID card with you at all times as it is required to enter and leave the site. The security colleagues will inform your manager, who will then collect you. You will receive a small welcome gift to welcome you to our company.
A mentor, who will be responsible for you during your induction, will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. As soon as you enter the company premises, it is important that you wear your work clothes. This primarily includes a vest and protective footwear. These will be given to you at the start of your work on your first day. After you have received a locker key, you can get changed and inspect your new workplace with your manager. Here you will receive your safety briefing. As soon as you have no more questions for us, you can start work.
